So it turns out, Lacy has a very hard time parting with clothing (specifically shoes) that no longer fit. She’s constantly finding shoes she hasn’t worn for months and tries to put them on for a good 5 minutes or longer and ends up crying her eyes out because they don’t fit. It’s seriously to the point where we have to try and remember to hide any shoes that “may” not fit her any longer, any time we see them!

The 4th has came and passed … Fireworks are always a good time. Lacy was pretty tired, but at least didn’t cry or anything. We didn’t watch them up-close, which I will say again … I still like watching at Miller Park, right under them. However, and completely and as bluntly as I can put it, I don’t necessarily feel safe there anymore. Ever. It’s a sad friggin’ thing. Read pantagraph.com for details … Haha.

On a technical-side of things … If you’re thinking about buying a laptop mouse or something, buy Logitech. Recently I had to deal with RMAs with them, and it was awesome. Great tech support and returns are relatively quick. Plus you can’t really beat the mini USB receiver. VX Nano baby!

Well I finally figured out my password again to update this site!:)  Yeah!  We haven’t had much going on to write about.  I put a picture of the girls up in their Christmas dresses.  Both girls loved Christmas and all of the presents!  Only eventful thing that I can remember since Christmas is that Ashley cut her own hair!!! AHHH!  I couldn’t believe it!  She had been watching Parent Trap and in the movie the one twin cuts the other girl’s hair at camp.  That was her reasoning for doing it - she wanted to be like the girl at camp!!  Great!  So she hid in her closet and cut her own!  In the movie after they cut her hair they peirce her ears!  I told Brent that is what we have coming next I guess!

So, Verizon never hesitates to amaze me with it’s ability to screw up a simple DSL setup. More on this later, as I’m currently waiting on one of their “network specialists” to look further into the issue and actually call me back within 24-hours. This is not for my service, but for my sister’s new service. I’m just annoyed, which normally would be an awesome time for me to post, but next time, next time.

I had a wonderful FIRST Christmas!  I have so many new toys I don’t know what to do!!  This month I had my first trip to the Discovery Museum in Uptown Normal.  I went with Mommy and Daddy and met my friends Reagan, Laura, and Jack.  We had a great time!  I sure liked the museum.  I hope I can go again someday!

I am thankful for my BIG family and all my friends!  Oh and my two bottom teeth.  My mommy taught me how to brush my teeth this month!! 

October was a fun month! I got to go to Rader’s pumpkin patch and play in the corn, ride on a tricycle, and pick out my first big pumpkins!  I also had my first Halloween.  Trick-or-treating was so much fun!  I got CANDY!  Yay for October!!

So, this is the last Halloween picture we’ll take on our porch at Julie Drive.  We have finally sold our house.  We’ve been here about 6 1/2 years, so it’s time to move on to bigger and better things.  Where you ask???  Well, your guess is as good as ours right now.  We don’t have a house to go to!  A few we had been keeping our eyes on for the past 3-6 mo. sold the same week ours did!!  Must not have been meant to be :)  So now we’re house hunting and as of right now, we’ll be moving in w/ my parents for an undetermined amount of time.  So if anyone hears of a great house for sale - let us know.

No early luck so far for deer - bow season. I haven’t even seen any from my stands yet, although some others around me have seen a couple. It’ll happen, I have faith … I’m looking to re-arrange my photo gallery on here and start posting more. Haha, we’ve all heard that before haven’t we? There’s 3 more photos from the opening weekend of bow season this year, but nothing exciting. Just tonight my brother e-mailed me some actual deer photos from one of our deer cams, so I may upload those too.
